Aylisha Escorcio

This sharp painting was created by Beyond the Brushes member, Aylisha Escorcio. Aylisha joined the community in September 2019 but was unable to dig into the lessons until January 2020 due to an unfortunate series of delays.

Aylisha's painting experience was limited to a few paint and canvas images when she was in school since she was more interested in graphite drawings at the time. Therefore, she started Beyond the Brushes with no prior digital painting experience whatsoever, and just look at what she produced!

A stunning photo on its own, Aylisha also mention the sentimental value of painting owls. She actually grew up with a family of owls that would pay her a visit at night, sitting on the swing outside her bedroom window. It is no wonder she considers them magical and admires their majestic nature.

Painting this picture allowed Aylisha to feel free and complete as she immersed herself in doing something that she loves, which she calls "being artsy" (I would probably call it being an artist 😉). Outside of lessons that facilitate artsy endeavors, Beyond the Brushes has encouraged her personal journey as an artist...

"Beyond the Brushes has really helped me with finding my inner self. It has inspired me to create art that I can call my own. I have Michelle and all the other review specialists to thank for this. Michelle is an amazing teacher, and she really puts her whole heart into helping all her students grow."

Thank you, Aylisha, for participating in artsy time with the community and growing into the artist you are today. It will always be a pleasure to watch artists blossom and strive for their full potential. I am looking forward to seeing you continue to soar. 😊
