Sandy Schill
This delightful painting was created by Beyond the Brushes member, Sandy Schill. Sandy joined the community back in September 2019 after experiencing some of the other courses offered, like the fur and portrait painting classes.
Though she has no prior digital painting experience, Sandy has come to find that the satisfaction remains when an image is transferred from mind to medium, regardless of which is being used. And wow look at the results! I can't help but smile when I see the painting. It is like she has captured joy and created a visual representation. 🙌
Creating this piece had its struggles, but Sandy lost herself in the process of going where the paint took her. After watching one of my silent paint replays, she noticed that I don't always stick to using fur brushes. Sometimes the greasy blender is just too tempting. 😉 So, Sandy "decided to let go and just work with 'the paint' to create a more painterly image."
Always having an allure to art, Sandy decided to take the plunge and join Beyond the Brushes. Here is her advice to others...
