Sheila Tennes
This splendid piece of artwork was created by Beyond the Brushes member, Sheila Tennes. Sheila joined the community in March 2020 with no formal training in art.
While creating this painting, Sheila struggled with deciding which pieces to composite together, but her selection turned out absolutely gorgeous! 🙌 It is no wonder that she feels joy when she gets everything how she wants it and then gets to paint it. The floral headpiece and butterflies accent the subject exquisitely.
Sheila did mention that she attempted to learn how to paint in Photoshop via YouTube before joining Beyond the Brushes. However, she found the videos lacking in their ability to actually teach the process of painting in Photoshop.
Based on her time in the community, Sheila noted that...
