Stephanie Dalman
This ace painting was created by Beyond the Brushes member, Stephanie Dalman. Stephanie joined the community in September 2019 but didn't truly get into it until December.
With a Bachelors in Business and an Associates in Accounting, Stephanie recalled her last experience with painting being in her elementary school art class. 🤯 However, she has been a photographer for about 10 years now, so she nurtured her creative eye first and is now diving into flexing her creative muscles. 💪
Though she has developed quite the artist's eye, the hardest part of this painting for Stephanie was determining how much of sweet Buddy to leave in the painting. The final outcome? Stupendous! Originally starting with his entire body, she slowly worked down to just his chest and head, wanting to capture his "majestic vibe."
Finally, I asked Stephanie about her experience with Beyond the Brushes, and here is what she had to say...
"I have so much to say! But I will try and keep it short. I love Beyond the Brushes. Between the courses, the community, the review specialists, and, most of all, Michelle, I have never felt so fulfilled in the creative process as I have with this course, and how we are supported and nurtured along is fantastic. I actually feel like I am part of a group that I never felt I was a part of doing photography for 10 years. I feel so incredibly lucky to be here, doing these paintings and gaining self-confidence I haven't had in a very long time. Thank you, Michelle, and ALL of the review specialists for your time and just being truly wonderful and amazing people."
